This page is used to test two graphics generated on a wiki site. I wanted a graphic for a guestbook. There is a question if JPG is better than GIF. Both are here.
These graphics are intended to serve as links to an external website where a Guestbook can be loaded and entries made by the user.
This objective has been successful! I'd like to spend more time with formatting graphics but must move on for now. I'll use #6 and place the Guestbook at the bottom of my home page.
1. US Flag (jpg) and Guestbook (gif) graphics, 12 spaces as separator.

2. Text Only is link Target
Works, text no graphic, pops a new window
3. Guestbook graphic, single & double quotes
Guestbook graphic attempts to link to page within this website and returns an error.
http://guestbook.it-mate.co.uk/users/evolutioninkansas' target="_blank">
4. US Flag JPG graphic, works properly
Guestbook graphic links to external site popping a new window.
5. Guestbook JIF graphic, works properly
Guestbook graphic links to external site popping a new window.
6. Guestbook JIF graphic, works properly
Here graphic is centered on the page, left to right. Should show text "Guestbook" before image loads (to fast to tell) and the ALT tag enables the text 'Guestbook' to be displayed when mouse hovers on the graphic.
7. JPG Guestbook with Sign & View sides
I thought I'd just look for a jpg and found the delightful website at Dreamworld designs (http://dreamworkdesigns.com/linking-tutorial.php) that provided me with a single graphic that will take the user to either sign or view the guestbook. It pops a new window also. The HTML code for this appears to be ''target="_blank"''
8. Using code in 7 but wrapping text around the graphic, graphic is to the right.
Greetings to all visitors!
If I now enter text after the code for the Guestbook the text should wrap to the left of the graphic. The key code here is the align=right within the IMG tag and then the use of text right after the graphic code. I am assuming that the large space between the greeting text and this text is because I made the greeting a tag of Heading2.
